Picking up the Scent: Detecting the Mental State
or the Intent of Parties

This year’s moot court competition explores if human odors can lead to criminal convictions. Can we smell guilt? Can we edit human genes to release certain smells when a person is guilty? With the popularity of of Generative AI, the complications in  fair use-copyrights, could it be used to edit genes to produce the smell of guilt.
